SPF Check
Check a domain's SPF record per RFC 7208: syntax, expanded includes and redirects, DNS lookup count (max 10), final policy and, optionally, whether a sender IP is authorized. Every finding cites the RFC section.
Frequently asked questions
What does SPF Check verify?
It reads the domain's SPF record, expands includes and redirects, counts DNS lookups (RFC 7208 limit of 10), flags syntax errors, multiple records and includes without SPF, and shows the final policy (-all, ~all, ?all).
Why is "too many lookups" serious?
Beyond 10 DNS queries the record is invalid (permerror) and receivers ignore it: the protection disappears. Fix it by removing useless includes or "flattening" the IPs.
How do I test whether my server is authorized?
Enter the IP of the server sending your mail: the tool simulates the SPF evaluation and tells you whether it is pass, fail or softfail and which mechanism decides.
